Warm Oil Hand Treatment – Homemade

You can tell a lot about a person by their hands. Almost like it’s another window to their soul. Or something poetic of the sort. Whether it’s true or not, I love looking at people’s hands. They’re so revealing for the world to see and judge. If we expose our hands for those who are curious enough, why not make them look as beautiful as possible, even just for yourself. So in stead of spending tons of money on a manicure, treat yourself with this homemade warm oil hand treatment, that will deeply nourish your hands, nails and cuticles.

You’ll need:

Here’s how:

Step 1:    Place the oil in a microwave-safe dish and heat it on medium-high for a few seconds until it is warmed, but not hot. Add the almond extract or lavender oil.

Step 2:    Rub the oil on your hands, massaging your fingers and palms. Cover your hands with the gloves and wrap a clean hand towel over your hands. Sit comfortably for about 5 minutes.

Step 3:   Remove the gloves and rinse your hands with warm water, massaging away the oil. Gently pat dry with the towel and apply a light hand lotion.
